WSJ “北, 신종 워터링홀 수법으로 南 웹사이트 해킹”
Suspected North Korean hackers have reportedly employed a new method to breach South Korean government servers.
Citing information security experts, the Wall Street Journal said a new technique called a “watering hole” method, was seen trying to compromise South Korean government websites since February.
The newspaper also said similar attacks have been reported by banks all across Asia, as well as Poland and Mexico, identifying North Korea as the possible culprit.
North Korea has also been linked to the “WannaCry” ransomware attack, that paralyzed more than a quarter-million computers worldwide, earlier this month.
